The amount is sent to the SumHexa API for calculation and is not stored. Only rates and their sources are retained; the amount is not sent to the distributor.
Method and sources
Converted amount = amount × rate. In the reverse direction, the amount is divided by the same stored rate.
Illustrative example: at a rate of 1.10 USD per EUR, 100 EUR converts to 110.00 USD, excluding fees.
Decimal arithmetic; the final amount is rounded to the target currency’s monetary precision. Displayed rates use up to 16 significant digits. Initial precision depends on the distributor.
